Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: July 28, 2026
1. The service
EventCap provides research software that organizes and compares information from prediction-market and related public data sources. EventCap is not an exchange, broker, investment adviser, fiduciary, custodian, or trade-execution service. It does not accept wagers or hold customer trading funds.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering a contract and at least 18 years old, or the higher age required where you live. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding access to your email and connected accounts, and activity conducted through your account.
3. Informational use only
Prices, signals, market matches, simulations, confidence indicators, historical results, and written analysis are informational tools. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax, or betting advice and are not guarantees of availability, accuracy, profit, or future performance. You must independently review exchange rules and settlement criteria before acting.
4. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, evade plan limits, probe or disrupt infrastructure, scrape at a rate that harms availability, reverse engineer protected components, introduce malware, impersonate another person, violate third-party rights, or use EventCap for unlawful activity. Reasonable automated access is permitted only through an expressly provided API and within its limits.
5. Third-party services
EventCap links to and consumes information from independent services such as Polymarket, Kalshi, Solana infrastructure, email providers, and identity providers. Their terms, availability, market rules, fees, and privacy practices apply independently. EventCap does not control or endorse every third-party statement or market.
6. Plans and payment
The free plan may change as the product evolves. Lifetime Pro is a one-time license for continued access to the Pro feature set for as long as EventCap operates that service, subject to these Terms, technical evolution, security requirements, and applicable law. “Lifetime” does not mean the lifetime of a user and does not guarantee that every feature or third-party integration will remain unchanged forever.
Blockchain payments are verified on-chain. You are responsible for sending the correct asset, amount, network, and recipient. See the Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
EventCap, its original interface, software, branding, documentation, and derived research presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Market data and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for lawful personal or internal business research.
8. Availability, changes, and suspension
We may maintain, change, limit, or discontinue features to improve reliability, security, compliance, or product quality. We may suspend access for material breach, abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or nonpayment. Where practical, material service changes will be communicated through the product.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventCap is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. EventCap is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, third-party outages, incorrect settlement, blockchain errors, or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Contact and changes
Questions may be sent to support@eventcap.xyz. We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change, and material changes may be highlighted in the service. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction continue to apply.
