Risk Disclosure

1. No advice or guarantee
EventCap does not recommend that you buy, sell, trade, hedge, or participate in any market. Signals, historical outcomes, confidence scores, simulations, and matched-market labels do not guarantee profit or loss avoidance. Past performance is not predictive.
2. Market and liquidity risk
Prices can move rapidly. Displayed quotes may be stale, unavailable, too shallow, or impossible to execute at the shown size. Spreads, fees, slippage, partial fills, latency, funding constraints, and transfer delays can eliminate an apparent edge.
3. Contract and settlement risk
Two markets that appear similar may have different wording, close times, sources, eligibility rules, amendment procedures, or settlement authorities. A cross-market price difference may reflect real contract differences rather than an arbitrage opportunity.
4. Platform and counterparty risk
Independent exchanges, wallets, RPC providers, stablecoin issuers, custodians, and networks may experience outages, restrictions, insolvency, hacks, frozen funds, rule changes, or account limitations. EventCap does not control those systems.
5. Digital-asset and blockchain risk
USDC and other digital assets may lose value, be sent to the wrong address or network, become inaccessible, or be affected by smart-contract, validator, bridge, wallet, or regulatory failures. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible.
6. Legal and geographic restrictions
Prediction-market participation may be prohibited or restricted based on country, residency, age, user status, or market type. You are responsible for determining whether your activity is lawful and permitted by each platform.
7. Data and model limitations
APIs can be delayed, incomplete, inconsistent, rate-limited, or wrong. Automated matching, confidence scoring, and execution simulation are estimates with assumptions. Always inspect original market rules and live order books before acting.
8. Your responsibility
Use only funds you can afford to lose, independently verify information, understand each venue, and seek qualified financial, legal, or tax advice where appropriate.
