Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: July 28, 2026
1. Information we process
- Account data: email address, display name, verification state, country and optional profile details.
- Authentication and security data: session identifiers, login tokens, OAuth identifiers, IP-derived security logs, device and browser metadata.
- Product data: watchlists, alerts, saved filters, exports, preferences, plan status, support communications, and account audit history.
- Connected-account data: read-only identifiers and market-account information you explicitly connect. EventCap is designed not to store wallet private keys.
- Payment data: invoice identifiers, wallet addresses, transaction signatures, amounts, timestamps, and verification status. Blockchain records are public and cannot be erased by EventCap.
- Usage data: requested pages, errors, performance and security events. Optional analytics are used only when enabled.
2. Why we use information
We process information to provide accounts and features; authenticate users; maintain watchlists, alerts and plan access; verify payments; prevent fraud and abuse; secure and troubleshoot the service; comply with law; respond to requests; and improve reliability. Depending on location, the legal basis may be contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or consent.
3. Sharing and processors
Information may be shared with infrastructure, email, authentication, payment/RPC, monitoring, and professional service providers only as needed to operate EventCap. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or in a business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards. EventCap does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Retention
Account information is retained while the account is active and for a limited period afterward for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and backups. Login tokens are short-lived; sessions and operational logs are retained according to security needs. Payment and blockchain verification records may be retained longer where necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Deletion requests remove account-scoped data unless retention is required or the data is already public on a blockchain.
5. Security
EventCap uses access controls, encrypted transport, protected environment configuration, session safeguards, audit logging, and data minimization. No system is perfectly secure. You should use a secure email account, protect connected credentials, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
6. International transfers
Service providers and public market APIs may operate in countries other than yours. Where required, EventCap uses contractual, technical, or legal safeguards for international transfers.
7. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent; and complain to a privacy regulator. Use the dashboard’s Privacy & data controls or email privacy@eventcap.xyz. We may verify identity before fulfilling a request.
8. Children and automated decisions
EventCap is not directed to children under 18 and does not knowingly create accounts for them. Product rankings and signals organize market information; they do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about individuals.
9. Cookies and external links
See the Cookie Policy. External sites have their own privacy practices. This Policy does not govern independent exchanges or data providers.
10. Updates and contact
Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-product notice. Privacy questions: privacy@eventcap.xyz.
